So I was convinced by my friends to go to Disneyland this weekend. Yes, I actually left Bella...She was in good hands with my mom though. We were very sad when we left her but we were very excited to go to Disneyland. Some might say it is our favorite place on earth. We renewed our annual passes and even upgraded to the passes with no blockout dates, this way we can go to Disneyland any day of the year. Well, it turns out that this was the busiest weekend Disney has ever seen. Both parks sold out!!!! On Saturday we spent 10 hours in the park and were only able to get on 4 rides because of long lines and every line that we managed to get in shut down as we were about to get on the ride. Anyway, Saturday was bad but Sunday redeemed itself. We had a good time and I guess there's always next time. We decided we are definitely going to take Isabella for the next trip, we need to make her a Disneyland fan as soon as possible.
On a high note though, when we brought the baby home yesterday she started to smile at us. I asked my mom if she had done that all weekend and she said that she hadn't. I am convinced that she was just saving her newest trick for her mom and dad. I would love to say that I have a nice pic of the smile to show you but I don't but I am going to make myself hook my camera up to the computer and figure it out this week. As for now, I will leave you with no pictures.

No way! Only 4 rides during the whole day? Which ones? That is totally crazy.

Yep, as you saw, we used 16 hrs to spend just 5 at Fisherman's Wharf. Oh well, it sounds better than just 4 rides in 10 hrs ;)
I am so excited that you are as much of a Disneyland freak as I am. We took Zachary for the first time in Dec. My family is going to make it an annual trip every Christmas instead of buying presents. Good times!
Yes, good times, I can hardly wait! Ok, it wasn't too bad, but there seemed to be a lot of people when we were there too! I hope that y'all can have a few less people next time you go and I hope we can too!
Wow, that really stinks! You should have come during the week, like on Monday. It was perfect, or maybe I shouldn't have told you.... I'm glad Bella is smiling at you now. That's is great.

Crazy old grandparent checking in to say how much we enjoyed our trip to Disneyland! We chose mid-week for our visit, and had hardly any wait for the rides!! Had a great time there with Keith, Kim, Caleb, and Lauri. We will happily discuss our trip with anyone who will listen!

Some of us have to work for a living. Weekends as well as during the week! Waa, waa, waa. Seriously, we're glad y'all had a good time. We love Disneyland.
